Clearly what’s wrong is that they haven’t been receiving enough sunlight. I’m pretty sure they’re over-watered, too. That one on the far left looks a little off-color.  Parasite, maybe? I’m pretty sure succulents should have a layer of gravel over their sand. I know it. Some one didn’t cover the roots.

Actually, both “cacti” and “cactuses” are both recognised as acceptable plural forms of “cactus” by several institutions.
